As we approach the upcoming charter season, we have been reassessing the role of the Early Booking Discount within our broader pricing strategy. What began as a targeted, time-bound incentive has gradually expanded and, in many cases, is now being offered for extended periods or even effectively year-round.
Although this approach can help secure early commitments and lock in bookings well in advance, it also carries a strategic risk. By maintaining continuous discounts, we may inadvertently encourage clients to delay their decisions and adopt a last-minute booking mindset. In several travel verticals, including the yachting industry, the persistent availability of discounts can diminish the perceived urgency to book early and ultimately weaken the value of planning ahead.
